Description
There is striking inequity in provision of mental health care globally. Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are home to more than 80% of the global population, but command less than 20% of the share of themental health resources. With limited resources, it is vital that decisionmakers in LMICs have access to robust information in order to make the best decisions about mental health promotion, prevention and treatment interventions. Funding is requested to support University of York’s partnership in the establishment of the Cochrane Global Mental Health Satellite. To support the delivery and knowledge exchange of reliable summaries of the best available and relevant mental health research information in LMICs.
