Corporations and the environment

I am currently working on a monograph entitled Corporations, Responsibility & the Environment, to be published by Hart Publishing. The monograph considers the formation of a pro-environmental ‘conscience’ within companies, in turn raising questions for the purposes of the company and company law. In rejecting the theoretical orthodoxy that environmental concerns are largely irrelevant to company law, the book explores ways to open up company law to the norms and goals of newer, more flexible forms of environmental regulation.
