DARC - DarkSilicon : Alternatives to Registered Computation
EPSRC Project Student Antonio Arnone.
This project investigates use of hardware translation technologies to map machine code fragments into hardware structures. This involves translating machine code into VHDL or VERILOG, and syntheising to FPGA and ASIC targets. This work is particularly novel as it focusses upon the unique aspects of machine architecture employed in stack-machines.
