Development of the City of York Homelessness Strategy 2023-24

Collaborative work drawing on existing evidence on effective practice in ending rough sleeping and suggests possible lessons for the City of York. The work draws on key lessons from the evidence base around the Housing First model and around the importance of an integrated strategy operating within a preventative framework. The project will also look at how some of the lessons from research, policy and practice elsewhere in the UK, Europe and beyond might potentially be translated into a strategic framework for the City of York.
