Layman's description
This project will focus on three areas: enhancing collaborations by using funds to invite newly identified collaborators to attend a planned joint workshop at York in March, undertaking some additional small scale trials with our aerial platform testbed of the ODA complaint wireless system, and preparing proposal materials in conjunction with collaborators so that we are prepared for future anticipated GCRF calls. Newly identified collaborations include contacts established with CSIR in South Africa, several organisations that are part of the ecosystem being established by Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Nigeria, contacts in being developed with an SME in Indonesia, and academic collaborators in Malaysia.
Key findings
This project has funded partial expenses of the workshop on 26 March 2018 which invited academic/industrial participants from several ODA countries. A full list of invited participants can be found from the workshop agenda as well as the discussed topics.
