Layman's description
Mobility is important for early career researchers (ECR), giving access to world-leading research groups, networking and development. However, mobility can be a challenge, particularly for those with family or caring commitments. This can negatively affect diversity in academia. This project builds partnerships with key funders, and works with key stakeholders (including ECR), using interviews and workshops to explore how New Ways of Working (NWW) has affected, and could affect, mobility at this crucial gateway stage. This project will inform future work that will develop an innovative approach, utilising NWW, that will support diversity for ECR in excelling in academia.
