Evaluation of the Together 4 All Programme for Schools, commissioned and funded by Atlantic Philanthropies and OFM & DFM, N.I:
The 3 year longitudinal study employed a randomised experimental design in which six schools were selected to implement T4A, a programme designed to improve children’s social-emotional learning, behaviour, and attitudes and mutual understanding and respect in primary schools ,and six schools to serve as comparisons. The evaluation was undertaken with a budget of £600,000. This has been the most important project in terms of funding, time scale, links with national policy, and not least the in-depth focus on social-emotional learning.
