Layman's description

Wireless sensor networks are becoming increasingly common for all kinds of environmental and industrial sensing applications. Medium Access and Routing Protocols are the means by which communication among the nodes is controlled. Often wireless sensor networks have to operate on very small amounts of energy and because of this special Medium Access and Routing Protocols are required which use minimum energy must be designed. In this project we are working on low energy protocols that work well in environments where electrical interference may be a significant problem.
