Description

The Measuring the Good initiative involves volunteers from the business, public and charity sectors supporting small to medium sized charities across the UK to access free, simple and practical assistance on measuring their impact/results.
Volunteers provide approximately 9-12 hours in 4-5 meetings over the course of 2-3 months. They also spend an additional 5-10 hours preparing for meetings. There are also some hours after 6-9 months for the Step 5 follow-up.

The volunteer team consisted of Neil Lunt (staff) and Iljoon Jo, Bong Kim and Sudarat Trisdikoon (CASPPER postgraduate students) at the University of York. Together they undertook visits of Peasholme, had a range of discussions and undertook desk-based searches relating to outcomes reporting. Their written report was presented to the Peasholme Board representative and CEO and will go the full Board. The report has been submitted to project sponsors (formerly NCVO - now Volunteering Matters).
