Description
X-ray absorption spectroscopy beam time at the Diamond Synchrotron. This was used to investigate the structure and bonding in some unusual oxidation state gallium complexes.
Key findings
Data were collected on a number of highly air, moisture and in some cases temperature-sensitive samples. Data analysis is ongoing through collaboration with the beam line scientist.
