Project Details
Description
We seek to build on the success of our earlier award ('Social Welfare for Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia') and work more intensively with Thai partners. Our work spans social policy, social work and community development. Previous activity focused on journal and grant writing and we have developed a cohesive cohort supported by the programme over 18 months. We wish to now support broader career development activity and work further with our Pathfinders and to promote debate regionally. We propose three interrelated activities i) a series of five online preparatory seminars with 15 ‘Pathfinders’ and regular 1-2- 1 feedback; ii) two regional workshops delivered in the far North and Deep South that are co-designed by Pathfinders and each have 35 attendees iii) a final in-country conference (hybrid but with upto 60 onsite) to act as a catalyst for the wider Southeast Asia region with attendees drawn regionally and nationally.
