Description

squib-box is an artist-led organisation and netlabel dedicated to the production and dissemination of avant-garde music and interdisciplinary performance.

Founded in 2010 by Adam de la Cour, Neil Luck and Federico Reuben, squib-box has organised and performed at live events around the UK and Europe, with a variety of leading musicians, artists and performers from a range of disciplines.

As a netlabel squib-box is committed to producing quality recordings of experimental music, regardless of its genre.

squib-box regularly works with artists and performers including Loré Lixenberg, Mark Koop, Bruce McLean, Fiona Bevan, Alexander Hawkins, Ingrid Laubrock, Carl Rosman, Sam Belinfante, Javier Carmona, Tom Jackson, Benedict Taylor, Dominic Lash, and Steve Noble, and has shown work or put on events at the ICA, Kings Place, Tate Britain, Schott Music Rooms, LSO St Luke’s (as members of LSO Soundhub), Milton Keynes Art Gallery, Hepworth Wakefield, The Chelsea Space, ZKM, Republique (Copenhagen), The Kitchen, Modern Art Oxford, Handel House, Testbed and Cafe Oto.
