Key findings
The outcomes of the EPSRC fellowhip have now been met in full. Along with a number of PhD students and a PDRA who were all at least partly EPSRC funded, we have achieved:
- an overhaul of the time-averaged electron diffraction apparatus
- the build, commissioning and testing of a novel time-resolve ED apparatus
- design and coding of software to deal with the data produced from TRED experiments
- York is now the centre of excellence for electron diffraction research in the UK
