Description

The School for Business and Society (SBS) at the University of York is committed to the development of ethical and sustainable business practices, alongside social enterprise. SBS also focuses on the creation and delivery of ethical and sustainable social care, welfare, criminal justice, and wider public policy aimed at reducing inequality. This research project aligns with SBS’s broader objectives and aims to contribute to the advancement of ethical and sustainable business practices.

The Research Support Assistant will be involved in a short-term research project titled ‘Tracking Success for the Good Business Charter (GBC): Developing an effective approach’. This project is a collaboration between the Good Business Charter (GBC) and the University of York, led by the School for Business and Society. The primary focus of this project is to get feedback on how the GBC is developing, highlighting successes and exploring any challenges by working with GBC accredited businesses and organisations and to develop GBC’s value propositions for sustainable development. This initial exercise aims to form the basis for what is hoped to be continued collaboration between UoY and the GBC.
