Description
A groundbreaking four year Landscape Partnership which brings together local communities, volunteers, farmers, land managers and a wide range of organisations. The Upper Nidderdale Landscape Partnership is a £1.8 million HLF scheme to look after and help people get involved with Upper Nidderdale’s historic landscapes, cultural heritage and wildlife habitats. The Upper Nidderdale Landscape Partnership brings together a wide range of partners, including local Parish Councils and volunteer groups alongside wildlife, heritage, rural development and training organisations. The Partnership is governed by the Landscape Partnership Board. A small core Landscape Partnership team is based at the Nidderdale AONB office in Pateley Bridge. The team works closely with the other project partners to deliver our projects. The principal funding for the scheme comes from the Heritage Lottery Fund’s UK-wide Landscape Partnership programme, with additional match funding for different projects provided by a variety of other funding sources.
