Abstract
The statistics of the received radiation scattered from a non-linear device within a reverberation chamber are examined by measurement and Monte-Carlo simulation. A Describing Function formulation is used for the non-linear analysis that enables the complete dynamic range of the non-linear process to be described. The work is a precursor to developments in diagnostic immunity measurements for digital electronic hardware.
