Abstract

A small three dimensional test-object for the validation of computational electromagnetics solvers is presented. The test object has a modular design allowing many possible configurations to be realised. The emphasis is on features of interest for electromagnetic compatibility applications, such as apertures and coupling to cables. A hardware implementation of the test object has also been constructed and many configurations measured in an anechoic chamber. The test case has been used extensively in two major research programmes to validate computational tools.
