Abstract
The paper analyses the features of clustered distributed systems and proposes a parallel model for their simulation. This model is used for the implementation of a parallel simulator on a shared memory parallel computer. Same adapted variants of classical static and dynamic scheduling algorithms are then tested using the simulator. In the end, the results obtained using these load balancing strategies are compared with those obtained in the absence of load balancing.
