An educational experiment in public dialogue: researching climate interventions with young people

Abstract

Is climate intervention a distracting experiment on Earth? This live session uses question cards developed in educational research workshops with young people, scientists and policymakers to understand multiple perspectives on responses to climate change. We argue that dialogue that produces questions encourages constructive disagreement, and has the potential to depolarise discussion of controversies.
