Anagram Live at the Old Customs House, Tampere, Finland: Composition and Performance (13 m)

Research output: Non-textual formPerformance

Composition for Electronics and voice. Live performance, documented with video online. Anagram expands ideas presented in the Being Dufay live performance project. Pure data patches were developed which permit timbral matching for assistive recognition of live vocals, in place of rudimentary score following objects. Anagram also seeks to identify which forms of transcontextual process are most appropriate for live performance (where audiences listen to the work once, rather than over multiple timespans). The data collected will become the subject of a future paper.
