N2 - With the advantage of any direction of power flow of dual active bridge (DAB) converter, DAB converter can be applied in the energy router as the DC/DC transfer part for emergency energy supply to deal with the unexpected large power outage. Not only they can make sure the various power energy supplies, but also ensure the high-power conversion. However, the power direction of DAB converter is adjusted through changing the value of phase shift angle between the gate signals of switches which is controlled manually. Based on above reason, this paper proposes an automatic power direction control method of DAB converter to make the bidirectional power transmission be done automatically without manual adjustment which significantly eliminates the constant human supervision and simplifies the operation. Ultimately, a comprehensive demonstration of the MATLAB/Simulink test is conducted to substantiate the viability of the proposed method.
