Abstract

The C-12(Mg-24, (CC)-C-12-C-12*)C-12 reaction has been studied to investigate a possible overlap with the C-12-C-12 scattering resonances observed in the gs-0(2)(+) and gs-3(-) channels. Evidence for the break-up of Mg-24 was observed, but the yield was too low to be able to associate it with specific resonances.
