Abstract
Enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) wireless communications in 5G and beyond will use millimetre-wave bands because of the bandwidth available, but this will require multi-element arrays to provide the antenna gain required to overcome the path loss in these bands. In this paper we consider the use of multiple arrays to provide distributed beamforming to serve multiple users, using a simplified precoding approach based on zero forcing to avoid inter-user interference.
