Abstract

This chapter examines the experience of homelessness by children and families. The chapter begins by describing the scale of family homelessness, before moving on to discuss the current evidence base. The following section explores the con- sequences for children who experience homelessness. This chapter concludes by exploring the provision of effective services and strategies to prevent and reduce these forms of homelessness.
