Abstract

An experimental method for the direct detection of internal conversion electrons emitted by excited No nuclei was presented. The electrons were tagged by detection of the recoiling nucleus or by α decay from the recoil (RDT), using electromagnetic separators. The spectrum of the electrons revealed discrete lines arising from transitions within the ground state band.
