N2 - We asked about the experience of a group who may be doubly disadvantaged in the labour market, discriminated against through gender and disability. Available evidence does not show how discrimination works for disabled women moving out of higher education, compared with men. Something happens to disadvantage them as they move on, but we know little, if anything, about what that is. The project aimed to fill that gap and understand how disabled women's final year at university could better translate into good quality, sustainable employment and career opportunities in professional, managerial and senior official roles. Our aims were refined during the project, but remained essentially unchanged.
