Abstract
One-shot (window) detection allows multi-user detection schemes to operate symbol by symbol in asynchronous systems and retain near-far resistance. A novel technique, double window detection, is presented, which significantly outperforms single window detection, especially for decorrelating receivers. Results for decorrelation and MMSE detection, using both windowing types are presented.
