Abstract

The study of buildings, houses and homes is a fundamental research field in archaeology but also an area of research shared by many other disciplines. This international, peer-reviewed volume brings together scholars from across Europe to debate the different research agenda, scholarly traditions, data and methods in this growing field and sets an agenda for the contribution of medieval archaeology to the study of houses and ways of living in pre-modern Europe.
