N2 - Decisions to improve health in the face of the rising epidemic of non-communicable diseases (NCD) in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs) hinge on how to provide the best care with existing technologies. In many cases, however, the implementation technology needs careful evaluation, including how well it responds to the needs of citizens and health policy makers. Application of economic analysis to these questions can show how such implementation decisions affect health resources and balance benefits and harms.
