Abstract
This report was commissioned by local authorities in East Sussex to examine emergency accommodation use in the County and to explore alternatives. The decision to support an external analysis of emergency accommodation use in the County arose because there were concerns about the quality, suitability and cost of emergency accommodation. The review was commissioned as an expert contribution to internal decision making processes and was not made public.
