Abstract
This is the final project report on the three-year evaluation of the impact of the National STEM Centre.
The report draws on the following data sources:
- three sets of annual interviews with key informants (National STEM Centre sponsors, policy makers and others with views on the aspirations for the Centre, key role holders at the Centre);
- three annual scrutinies of resource bank, both real and virtual, to establish range and nature of materials being deposited;
- three annual surveys of Centre users (both physical and via electronic access);
- three sets of impact data, both quantitative relating to, for example, number of centre visitors (both physical and via electronic access), and qualitative through interviews with selected Centre visitors, and supported by case studies undertaken in the second and third years of the evaluation.
