Abstract

These performances formed part of a research project at the Orpheus Research Centre in Music, Orpheus Institute Ghent: 'The modes of listening, memory, and physicality at play in the preparation and performance of Morton Feldman’s later works for solo piano'. The performances fed into the project, which also resulted in conference presentations and a chapter in an edited volume (see relational links).

Bibliographical note

Performances took place around the UK and in Belgium. Performance locations include: Beaford Arts (North Devon), London Warehouse (as part of Sound and Music's "Cutting Edge Series), Orpheus Institute, ICIA Bath, Oxford Sonic Arts, Dartington Arts.
