Abstract

A special issue of Style, guest edited by Richard Walsh with the journal editors, John Knapp and Maxwell Hoover. The special issue consists of an 11,000-word target essay by Walsh, “Fictionality as Rhetoric: A Distinctive Research Paradigm,” followed by responses from fifteen scholars in the fields of narrative theory and philosophy of literature, and concluding with a 9,000-word rejoinder to the responses by Walsh, “Further Reflections upon Fictionality.”
