Abstract
A recording (total duration 45:12) issued on LP, incorporating a composition by William Brooks, performed by Stefan Östersjö, and engineered by Jez Wells. The composition (from the 1980s) was used to construct an entirely new artefact that is at once a "performance" of the composition and a new musical continuity derived from it. Liner notes situate each of the six tracks in a fictional but scholarly alternate history. The whole both completes and supplements a book chapter that discusses the entire project
