Abstract

In this poster, the outline of a newly developed Syndemic model of health and health experience is presented. Alongside this, a plan on how to investigate this developed model of Syndemics of health via five selected health behaviours and known contributors to health and health experience is presented. The target population for this proposal is people with SMI in the UK. The proposed method of investigation is the analysis of six different large datasets, secondary data collected by research teams and health professionals in the UK. Furthermore, an argument is made on how to incorporate a Syndemic approach to current health care for people with SMI.
