This paper describes the latest progress and results, at the University of York, UK, in the development of an atomic clock based on Coherent Population Trapping (CPT). The clock uses Rubidium and a flywheel local oscillator consisting of an ultra-low phase noise Crystal Oscillator (XO), Dielectric Resonator Oscillator (DRO) and Direct Digital Synthesiser. Aspects of the design and construction of the oscillators, phase locked loop, frequency synthesizer and physics package are presented, along with phase noise and stability measurements.
