Abstract
a unique opportunity to utilise the Trust database to draw out messages about families with disabled children for policy makers, practitioners and families themselves. The aim was to carry out a small number of discrete pieces of work chosen in consultation with a group of parents known to the Trust. Analysis of data relating to Disability Living Allowance for children, the transport costs faced by families with severely disabled children, the extra care parents give their disabled children and 'single point of access' information services has been completed.
