Abstract

Para-hydrogen (para-H2)-induced polarization is being used widely in nuclear magnetic resonance and magnetic resonance imaging to increase sensitivity. This article considers the approaches that can be used to harness the latent magnetism of para-H2 and illustrates the growing range of applications.
