Abstract

Performances of 3 pieces, linked to conference paper 'Knowing ‘I’?: Musical Subjectivity, Embodiment and Interaction' presented at the festival and symposium for artistic research, 'Tacit or Loud: Where is the Knowledge in Art?', InterArts Centre/ Academy of Music, Malmö (Lund University). New pieces: 'Touch and Go,' by Roger Marsh; 'under and under and under and under and under or why didn't you tell me the first time?' (for piano, mp3 players, battery powered loudspeakers and turntable) by Paul Whitty. New version of 'Ceci n'est pas un piano' by Annea Lockwood, with new text by the performer. This work forms part of the overarching research project 'Performance, Subjectivity and Experimentation', in collaboration with the Orpheus Research Centre in Music, Ghent.
