Abstract
Mesolithic sites have been recovered from eroding moorlands in the Pennines for well over a century. However this volume presents the results of the first detailed high resolution excavations of a series of these sites in Marsden moor. 'Snapshots' of activities at these sites from the Early, Late and Latest Mesolithic are explained, and situated within what we know of environmental changes and social relationships in the period.
