Abstract

Circular Economy is a relatively recent development, and as such has not received much in the way of legal analysis. Despite growth in the literature on law and circular economy, the nature and role of the law on intellectual property in circular economic contexts is an area that needs further examination. Additionally, there is also a limited literature on the English and Welsh law of security interests over intellectual property (though this area has recently seen some growth). This chapter address for the first time the issue of security interests over intellectual property rights in Circular Economy.
