Abstract

This report explores issues around skills gaps and the quality of training provision in the screen industries, focusing on three key areas: skills gaps and shortages; training provision; and career pathways. It draws on numerical data analysis of 113 training provider websites and semi-structured interviews with 27 individuals working across the screen industries, including in training organisations, production companies and the freelance workforce. Individuals from each region of the UK, with the exception of Northern Ireland, have contributed to this report.
