Abstract

Three half-hour documentaries (of seven) for Al Jazeera English on modern slavery. Slavery is more widespread than when it was largely abolished in the nineteenth century, and has evolved into a widely tolerated form of human exploitation. I produced, directed, wrote and photographed the three films, which were shot in Haiti (child slavery), India (bride trafficking) and Pakistan (bonded labour).
