Abstract

Commissioned by Christopher Orton and the BBC Performing Arts Fund, the world première was given by Christopher Orton at the Greenwich International Early Music Festival on 16 November 2008. The piece received a 2009 British Composer Award from British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors.

The work was selected by the International Jury for the 2012 ISCM Wolrd Music Days in Beligium. The European premiere will take place on 4 November 2012 in Brugge, Belgium.
