Abstract

Setting of the thirteenth-century Middle English/Latin macaronic poem 'Of on that is so fair and bright...', for community choir and orchestra, commissioned and premiered by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and SO Vocal, conducted by Simon Halsey. Performed as part of the 2019 programme 'A Choral Christmas with Hugh Dennis.' The piece is also arranged for a cappella SATB choir and SATB choir with piano accompaniment.
