Abstract
Diarylmethanes can be accessed efficiently by Suzuki-Miyaura cross-couplings of arylboronic acids with benzyl halides mediated by trans-PdBr(N-Succ)(PPh3)(2). The methodology can be applied to the synthesis of aryl(heteroaryl)methanes.
