Abstract
The report is based on the independent evaluation of one of the Staying Close pilot projects for residential care leavers, commissioned through the DfE's Children's Social Care Innovation Programme. The report explores the development and implementation of Break's staying close project, the cost benefits of the project and the evidence of early impact on young people's journeys from residential care to independent living.
