Abstract
The interdisciplinary project challenges current critical interpretations of Renaissance collaboration. Working with a broad range of printed and manuscript materials, I offer new contexts for collaboration, and an unprecedented degree of detail about the precise mechanisms of collaborative writing and production. My thesis provides a fresh perception of collaboration that will have a direct influence on editorial policy and performance practice in the 21st century.
