Abstract

This paper presents findings from one component of an ESRC funded research study of the theory, practice and impact of using verbatim quotations from research participants in reporting qualitative social research for policy. This paper presents findings from the desk-based analysis of selected recent research texts to explore styles of reporting verbatim words.
